Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday held a crucial meeting on its poll preparation and strategies.
BJD President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik presided over the meeting, which was held at Naveen Niwas.
Several senior leaders and district observers of the party were present at the meeting.
The BJD leaders held elaboration discussion on poll preparations, strategies and the situation in each constituency, informed BJD Senior Vice President Debi Prasad Mishra after the meeting.
The BJD supremo gave vital suggestions to the party observers, who presented reports of the ground situation, Mishra said.
