Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal has approached the Chief Electoral Officer and filed a complaint against BJP candidate from Berhampur Lok Sabha constituency Pradeep Panigrahy.
BJD has accused Panigrahy of intimidating the government officials engaged in the election process.
Panigrahy is threatening government employees and officials of Berhampur Constituency to obey his instructions otherwise they will be transferred.
The BJD has demanded strict action against Pradeep. In its representation, the BJD has said that the party always believes in democracy and also trusts the Election Commission and that the CEO will take stringent action against Pradeep.
