Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Wednesday enhanced the allowance for mid-day meals in schools.
This has been informed by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond.
The cost per mid-day meal will be increased by Rs 1. The decision has been taken considering the price rise.
The Government is spending Rs 5.90 per MDM for primary school student and Rs 8.82 for upper primary student.
