Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik visited various Durga Puja pandals in the capital city on the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami, the eighth day of the Navaratri festival.
The BJD President visited the Durga Puja pandals at Rasulgarh, Saheed Nagar and Badagada.
Naveen took blessings of Goddess Durga and prayed for the peace and wellbeing of the people of the State.
Naveen was given rousing welcome by the puja committee members and people at every puja pandal he visited. The people were very excited after seeing Naveen from close.
The BJD President also greeted the people waving his hands with a smiling face.
Earlier, Naveen visited various Ganesh Puja pandals keeping the request of puja committees.
