Bhubaneswar: Cricket legend VVS Laxman has showered his praises on Cuttack’s Abhimanyu Das for his selfless service.
The 50-year-old Odisha man has been in news for giving dignity to the dead, cremating unclaimed and unattended dead bodies.
He has been able to draw attention of cricket legend VVS Laxman.
In a Twitter post, Laxman wrote, “Abhimanyu Das, a 50-year-old book-binder from Cuttack, In his quest to give dignity to the dead, cremates unclaimed and unattended dead bodies .He has also been taking care of thousands of cancer patients most of whom are homeless or abandoned. Hats off to his selfless service”.
