Odisha Has a Very Effective Disaster Management Policy in Place, So Don’t Get Panicked: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: As Odisha has geared up to tackle the impending cyclonic storm ‘Dana’, Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik has urged all to cooperate with the administration in cyclone management.

LoP Naveen appealed to the people not to get panicked as Odisha has a very effective disaster management policy in place.

In a video message, Naveen said, “We all are very much concerned about the impending cyclone. In the past we all have fought united and successfully against many cyclones. All of you know we have a very effective disaster management policy in place. So I request all of you not to get panicked”.
“Life is precious. Stay safe. Cooperate with the administration in cyclone management”, Naveen urged.

He also requested all elected representatives to remain in touch with people at this critical hour and extend all possible help.

“Let us work unitedly. So I have strong belief that we can also fight the cyclone Dana with success”, Naveen added.
