Bhubaneswar: The Energy Department of Odisha Government has requested the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission not to increase the retail power tariff in the state for the financial year 2022-13.It has urged the OERC to take into consideration the surplus revenue of the Distribution Companies of the state during the current financial year.
The OERC was hearing the Aggregate Revenue Requirement of Gridco today during which the Energy Department made the request.
