Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said that empowerment and success of women in all the fields is the greatest tribute to the great statesman and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.
Speaking at the State Level program to pay tributes to the legendary former Chief Minister, Naveen said Biju Babu had a unique personality and his working style was unique.
Women Empowerment was his most ambitious program.

“Dear Friends, I pay my humble tributes on the occasion of the death anniversary of legendary Biju Patnaik. Biju Babu had a unique personality and his working style was also unique. His only aim was development of Odia people and Odisha. Development, empowerment and Odia pride was always on focus for Biju Babu. He never compromised on these. He was famous in the country not as a politician, but as a statesman.”
“Women Empowerment was his most cherished program. He has set several milestones in this regard. The Urban and Panchayat Elections were over recently. Participation of a large number of women in these elections and their success made me most happy. Women are the drivers of New Odisha. Their efficiency and success is the greatest tribute to Biju Babu. I thank you all and the Information And Public Relation Department for this beautiful program of today.”
