Bhubaneswar: Odisha Special Relief Commissioner has issued an advisory to Collectors of Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Mayurbhanj, and Kalahandi in the wake of the heat wave conditions being recorded in the state and warning for further increase in temperatures by the Meteorological Department.
The advisory is as follows:
• Steps be taken to circulate the warning message among the public.
• Heat is tolerable for general public but slight health concern for vulnerable people (viz: infant, elderly and sick people).
• Public may be advised to take precautionary measures for hot weather while going outside during noontime (around 1100 IST-1530 IST in these areas).
• Situation may be closely monitored and action as deemed necessary be taken.
