Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today extended greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

The Akshaya Tritiya, an important ararian festival, is being celebrated across the State with farmers performing ‘Akhi Muthi Anukula’, the ceremonial act of sowing seeds in their paddy fields after ploughing.
The day marks the commencement of agricultural works.
