Naveen Patnaik holds road shows in Patkura
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik held road shows in Patkura, three days ahead of Assembly election in the constituency today.
Naveen arrived at Barimula in a chopper followed by a high pitched campaigning in a specially designed bus seeking vote for BJD candidate Sabitri Agarawalla.
Election will be held on July 20 election and results will be declared four days later on July 24.
This roadshow was quite similar to the ones that he held in the run up to the simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections held in April and May in the State.
The BJD supremo will also hold road show and address public meetings in Chandol, Garadpur and Patkura areas till 7 pm today.
Notably, Patkura was supposed to go to polls on April 29, the last phase of the four-phase elections in the State. But the death of BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agarawalla and then the aftermath of cyclone Fani that hit the State on May 3 forced the election to be postponed twice.
