Bhubaneswar: The western Odisha districts of Balangir, Bargarh, Boudh and Sonepur are likely to experience heat wave conditions in the next two days.
Along with these districts, Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Anugul and Deogarh will also see high temperatures in the coming two days. Yesterday, 11 places had experienced temperatures over 40 degrees. Three places – Nuapada, Boudh, and Balangir recorded temperatures more than 43 degrees. Nuapada recorded the highest temperature of 44 degrees yesterday.
Odisha State Relief Commissioner has written to the Collectors to take all precautionary measures and avoid exposure during the heat wave time.
