Cuttack: Hundreds of youth today took to the streets in Cuttack in protest against the Agnipath Army recruitment scheme announced by the Union Government. A large number of protestors gathered at the Cantonment Road and demonstrated against the Central Government and demanded immediate reversal of the decision. The agitating youth also blocked the road in front of the Army Recruitment Office.
According to sources, the Police had to resort to lathi charge near the Ring Road to disperse the protestors. More details awaited.
