Bhubaneswar: The MLAs, Assembly staff members and media persons will undergo COVID-19 test ahead of the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
As part of the precautionary measures to prevent spread of the coronavirus, the Odisha Assembly Secretariat has decided to conduct COVID-19 tests of all legislators, their PSOs, media persons and other Assembly staffs before the commencement of the monsoon session, as per reports.
The Covid RT-PCR tests will be done on June 29, 30, and July 1.
The monsoon session of the Assembly will commence on July 2 and will continue till August 4. The session will have 24 working days.
