Two UPHCs in Keonjhar Dist Get ISO Certification

Keonjhar: Two Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) in Odisha’s Keonjhar district have been conferred with ISO certifications for setting benchmark in quality management system.

The UPHC Baneikala in Joda and UPHC Nalda in Barbil have received the ISO 9001:2015 certification for demonstrating quality service delivery in the area of general OPD services, teleconsultation service under e-Sanjeevani, diagnostic services under NIDAAN scheme, supply of drugs and medicines under NIRAMAYA scheme, family planning, maternal & child health services, adolescent services under Khushi scheme, counselling services, health checkup of sanitary worker, communicable & non-communicable disease services as well as wellness activities and different outreach services to promote health of slum dwellers and ward residents ..

The ISO 9001 certification is a quality management system, issued to organizations who demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products & services that meet the customer and regulatory requirements.
