Chhattisgarh, Odisha Police Hold Coordination Meeting on LWE

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh and Odisha Police on Thursday held an inter-state coordination meeting to strengthen mutual cooperation in the operations against Left-Wing Extremism (LWE).

The coordination meeting was held at the Chhattisgarh Police Headquarters in Raipur.

The meeting was attended by DGP Chhattisgarh Ashok Juneja, ADGP CRPF Nitin Agarwal, AD IB Rithwik Rudra, Odisha Director of Intelligence Sanjeeb Panda and IG, Operations Amitabh Thakur.

The senior officials from Chhattisgarh, Odisha, IB, BSF and CRPF also attended the meeting.

The top police officials of the two states have discussed various issues for strengthening security and sharing of intelligence inputs for anti-Maoist operations, as per reports.
