Maoist Camp Busted in Kandhamal, Several Articles Recovered

Bhubaneswar: A Maoist camp was busted by the security forces in Odisha’s Kandhamal district.

Based on reliable inputs, an anti-Maoist operation of joint team of SOG and DVF Kandhamal was launched on July 14 under Baliguda Police Station in Kandhamal district.

During the course of operation, the security forces busted a Maoist camp near Tilaki village under Baliguda PS limits.

They have recovered several Maoist articles, such as two plastic buckets, six water jars, four Tiffin boxes, some amount of contraceptives, one steel soap case, one steel ladle, one steel perforated spoon, two umbrellas, one torch, one handmade magazine pouch, one aluminum dish with cover, three polythene sheets, one solar plate (small), one solar light, three chisels, one axe, one waist belt, a four-meter aluminum wire, four rifle slings, one pair of slipper, 10 meter rope, one aluminum fry pan, three water bottles, one steel plate, four steel mugs, amul and tea powder.
