Odisha Food Safety Commissioner Felicitates Government Organizations Certified as FSSAI Eat Right Campus

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Food Safety Commissioner Dr. Brundha D has felicitated the government organizations of Odisha having certified as Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s ‘Eat Right Campus’.

Eat Right Campus have been declared by FSSAI to the most dignified Govt organization of Odisha including AIIMS, NISER, Madhusudan Academy, IIT.

The campus were developed and trained for serving hygiene food. They were felicitated by Commissioner Food Safety Odisha Dr. Brundha D.

All important government organizations and medical colleges to get Eat Right Campus, initiatives are under progress. Director Food Safety, Dr. P. K. Mohapatra and State nodal officer Pratikshya D. Mahapatra were present in the felicitation.

Eat Right Campus certificates are given to corporate offices and educational institutes after conducting third-party audits to check if they meet the parameters of the programme.

The parameters include food safety measures, steps to ensure provision of healthy and environmentally sustainable food, and building awareness among the individuals in the campus to make the right food choices.
