Ganjam: Two Junior Clerks of Education Dept Apprehended for Taking Bribe

Berhampur: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday apprehended two junior clerks in Ganjam district for allegedly taking bribe.

Susil Kumar Patnaik, Jr. Clerk at office of DEO, Berhampur, and Pradip Kumar Mohanty, Jr. Clerk, Jaypur Nodal High School, Aska, have been arrested by the vigilance sleuths while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from a retired laboratory attendant) for preparation and finalization of his retirement benefits.

The entire bribe money has been recovered from both the accused Patnaik and Mohanty and seized.

In this connection, Berhampur Vigilance PS case has been registered.
The investigation is in progress against both the accused junior clerks.
