Odisha: Contractual Workers Withdraw Protest after Govt Agrees to Consider Their Demands

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government Contractual Employees Association (OGCEA) on Monday withdrew the protest after the State Government agreed to consider their demands.

The members of OGCEA including teachers, police, assistants and other Class-III employees were on a protest demanding uniform service rules for all categories of employees.

As per reports, the OGCEA members withdrew protest after a meeting was held between the State Government officials and the OGCEA.

The State Government has assured of fulfilling their demands in the next 15 days, reports added.
