Dussehra Gift: Odisha Government Hikes Dearness Allowance By Three percent, To Benefit 7.5 Lakh Govt Employees and Pensioners

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the proposal to hike the Dearness Allowance of government employees and pensioners by three percent today. With this, the Dearness Allowance of the Government employees in the state will rise to 34 percent from 31 percent. This will be effective from 1st January 2022 retrospectively. Pensioners getting amended pensions will also get three percent hike in their TI.

The employees and pensioners will get the hike and the arrears in this month’s salary. About 4 lakh Government employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners will benefit from this.
