Odisha: STF Seizes Two Leopard Skins in Nayagarh, Wildlife Criminal Arrested 

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch seized two leopard skins from the possession of a wildlife criminal in Nayagarh district.

The wildlife criminal has been identified as Bhagabat Majhi alias Ramesh of Bhogapadi village under Daspalla police limits of Nayagarh district

On the basis of reliable information regarding dealing or possession of wildlife products by wildlife criminals, a team of STF conducted raid with the help of Banigochha Forest Officials near Kuanria Dam under Dasapalla police limits in the district.

During the search, two leopard skin and other wildlife products were recovered from his possession. As the accused person could not produce any authority in support of possession of the wildlife products, the STF said.

The wildlife criminal was arrested.
