Bhubaneswar: The Padamapur Action Committee members on Wednesday met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and held discussions regarding grant of district status to Padampur sub-division.
The Action Committee members were led by Minister Niranjan Pujari.
The discussion with the Chief Minister was very fruitful. The Chief Minister responded positively and assured that Padampur will be declared as a district during the reorganization of districts in Odisha in future, informed an Action Committee member.
