Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Saturday arrested an ARI at Koraput Tahasil in Koraput district for allegedly taking bribe of Rs 6000 from a person.
Amit Kumar Behera, ARI of Suku RI circle, Koraput Tahasil has been arrested by the vigilance officials for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.6,000 from a complainant for correction and issuance of separate RoR (Patta) in favour of complainant and his brother.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case U/s 7 PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered against the ARI. The matter is under investigation, the vigilance stated.
