Puri: Commencement of Chandana Yatra and construction of Rathas (Chariots) of Lord Jagannath will take place on auspicious occasion of Akshay Trutiya on May 15.
Dr Krishan Kumar, Chief Administrator, SJTA today monitored on-ground preparations being made for same.
All necessary arrangements are to be ensured as per schedule; at Ratha Khala (Place where Ratha are constructed ) and at Narendra Pushkarinee (where the ‘Chaapa’ or boat ride of deities will take place).
All officials have instructed accordingly, the SJTA said.
