Cuttack: The Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department has seized spurious drugs wroth Rs 23,22,948 in Cuttack district.
The drugs enforcement team seized eleven spurious drugs from the custody of MH Pharmaceuticals, Nayasarak under Purighat Police station.
“Eleven spurious drugs based on the concerned manufacturers’ reply, were seized after effective drug recall, from the custody of MH Pharmaceuticals, Nayasarak under Purighat Police station”, the Health Department said.
These drugs were quarantined earlier and sales were stopped on suspicion which were procured from outside the State.
Odisha drugs enforcement team is in touch with other state governments, including U.P. to establish chain of supply and complete other formalities, the Health Department said in a statement.
