Manoj Mishra Resigns from Railway Service; What Next?

Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, senior IRTS officer Manoj Kumar Mishra has resigned from the Indian railway service.

The resignation of Mishra, who is currently holding the position of Secretary, Electronics & IT Department of Government of Odisha, OSD to CM Naveen Patnaik, and Special Secretary in Transport Department looking after railways, ports and airports, has been accepted by the Railway Board., as per reports.

Mishra stepped down from the railway service at a time when he has already been empanelled by the Government of India for the post of Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent in the Centre, raising many speculations about his future move.

What would be the next move of Manoj Kumar Mishra, who is all known for playing an instrumental role in the transformation of IT sector in the Odisha? He has also played a crucial role in bringing several IT firms to the State.

Meanwhile, people in social media are speculating if he will join active politics or not.
