Balasore: Operation Sandstorm Launched to Stop Illegal Mining

Balasore: The Balasore Police has launched ‘Operation Sandstorm’ to put an end to illegal mining of minor minerals.

Under ‘Operation Sandstorm’, each SDPO has been tasked to take stringent action against illegal mining, which includes registering criminal cases and starting a financial investigation against perpetrators.

This has been informed by Balsore SP Sagarika Nath.

“OPERATION SANDSTORM launched to put an end to the illegal mining of minor minerals. Under this each SDPO has been tasked to take stringent action against illegal mining, which includes registering criminal cases and starting a financial investigation against perpetrators”, the SP said.
