Odisha: Cabinet Approves Proposal to Create 6,025 LTR Teaching Posts In Govt Secondary Schools

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday approved a proposal to create 6,025 of LTR (Leave and Training Reserve) posts in teaching posts in Government secondary schools under School & Mass Education (SM&E) Department.

15 percentage of the total cadre strength of 40,166 of teachers which comes to 6025 nos. will be created to meet the requirement of teachers’ unavailability due to leave, training and on medical ground. This will address the issue of shortage of teachers in Government secondary schools, according to an official press release issued by the State Government.
