Staqu collaborates with IIT Delhi – FITT to foster the Indian innovative sphere

Gurugram: Staqu, the premier Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation enabler in India, has partnered with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.

The objective of this collaboration is to leverage the research-backed data available with IIT Delhi and maximize its utility and functionality for enhancing and improving the quality of real-time data collected by JARVIS, an AI-based video analytics platform. FITT appointed Prof. Chetan Arora as the project in-charge (PI) for this research collaboration.

Staqu aims to integrate research-backed data to revolutionize the Indian innovation sphere. By utilizing the expertise of IIT Delhi’s researchers and FITT’s technology transfer capabilities, Staqu hopes to create a one-of-a-kind platform that is based on research-backed data and has real-time capabilities.

Commenting on the partnership, Atul Rai, CEO and Co-founder of Staqu, said: “We are excited to collaborate with IIT Delhi’s FITT and leverage their expertise in technology transfer. Chetan Arora is a crucial contributor in making this collaboration a success. He is a prominent name in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Indian academia. With authoring over 100 research papers in the field of computer vision and machine learning, he is one of the most cited researchers and known for his work in egocentric action and activity recognition at IIT Delhi.

Commenting on the collaboration, he said: “By collaborating with Staqu, we are excited to leverage our research-backed data and technology transfer capabilities to help create a platform that can revolutionize the Indian innovation sphere.

“We believe that this collaboration will help in maximizing the utility and functionality of our research-backed data and make it more accessible to the industry.”

FITT provides superior program management services and is steadily increasing its operational landscape.

The many responsibilities played by FITT can be seen in its support of technological innovations and entrepreneurship, business alliances, technology development, consulting, cooperative

R&D, technology commercialisation, development initiatives, corporate memberships, etc. These positions are required by the Foundation’s main mission, which is to demonstrate the Institute’s “intellectual ware” to the industry to unlock its knowledge base and embed industrial relevance in IIT Delhi’s teaching and research.

Staqu and FITT at IIT Delhi will work together to ensure that the research-backed data is optimally utilized to enhance the capabilities of JARVIS.

This collaboration will help JARVIS to better analyze data collected from various sources, including CCTV cameras, mobile phones, and social media, and provide critical insights to stakeholders in real time.
