Bhubaneswar: A Junior Assistant has been arrested by the Laxmisagar Police under Commissionerate police on allegations of duping hundreds of job aspirants. The fraud officer has been identified as Bibhuti Mishra of Ranapur in Nayagarh district who duped more than 300 youth in the name of providing government jobs.
The accused used to give fake letter heads, appointment letters, and other documents to the aspirants and used to take lakhs of rupees in return. He also opened a fake consultancy in Cuttack and appointed agents to dupe the gullible job aspirants. According to reports, he has been involved in these types of fake activities since 2014 and till now collected more than four crore rupees from hundreds of aspirants.
