Balangir: ‘Chal Aame School Jima’ Awareness Programme Launched to Improve Enrolment and Retention 

Balangir: The Balangir district administration has launched a multi stakeholder awareness programme to improve school enrolment and retention of children between 6-4 years of age.

The aim of “Chal Aame School Jima” is for 100 per cent transition from AWC to schools, primary to upper primary, and upper primary to high schools, informed Balangir Collector Chanchal Rana.

As part of the awareness programme, the PRI members will hold meeting with partents in their jurisdiction along with school principals.

Mission Shakti members will also be roped in to ensure 100% school enrolment of their wards. Drop outs will be re-enrolled into normal and open schools.

The Balangir administration has sought the support and suggestions from different stakeholders to make the programme successful.
