Red Flags Displayed on Puri Beach to Warn Tourists about Danger Zone 

Puri: Red flags have been displayed at the danger zone of Puri sea beach as a precautionary measure to prevent the drowning cases.

The Puri district administration put red flags in sector 12,13 and 14 of the sea beach area to make tourists aware of the danger zone.

The step has been taken after the four tourists were reportedly drowned in the beach near sector 13 close to the Swargadwar area in two consecutive days.

Besides, more life guards, fire services and police personnel have been deployed in sectors 12, 13 and 14 where drowning cases were reported in the recent past, as per reports.
