Srikakulam: In a tragic incident, four elephants were electrocuted to death in Katragada village of Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district bordering Odisha. A six member elephant herd had crossed over to Andhra Pradesh from Odisha a few days back. The elephant herd came in contact with a high tension wire yesterday night and four of them electrocuted to death. The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department officials are trying to treat the two remaining injured elephants who had gone into the jungle after the incident.
