Sambalpur: The Burla Police in Sambalpur district began the probe into the clash between two groups of medical students at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla campus.
The group clash took place between the students of VIMSAR, Burla and MKCG, MCH Berhampur during the inter-medical college festival ‘Euphoria’. At least eight students reportedly sustained injuries in the incident.
The Burla police registered a case on the basis of a complaint filed by Prof. Jayashree Dora, Dean & Principal of VIMSAR, Burla and started an investigation into the matter, as per reports.
