Odisha: Vigilance Raids Two Illegal Sawmills in Bhadrak, Timber worth Rs 15 Lakh Seized

Bhadrak: The Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday raided two illegal sawmills in Bhadrak district and seized timber worth around Rs 15 lakh.

The forest wing of Odisha Vigilance conducted raids at two illegal sawmills running without valid license at Dandakul village in Bhandaripokhari PS and Dhakinakanjipal village in Dhamnagar PS in the district.

During the raids, the Vigilance sleuths seized sawmill accessories along with 362.3 Cft of valuable timber worth approx Rs 15 lakh.

Further investigation is underway in the matter, the Vigilance informed.
