Sambalpur: The Hirakud Dam authorities have opened four more sluice gates of the dam to release the flood waters. With this, water is being released through 12 gates in total. According to sources, the water level of the Hirakud Dam stood at 614.04 feet at 9 am today morning. The current inflow of water into the dam stood at 1,50,799 cusecs and the outflow was recorded at 1,58,825 cusecs.
