Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has vacated its stay order on the publication of results of Odisha Civil Services Examinations conducted by the OPSC. The High Court had stayed the publication of the results while hearing a petition filed by a Person with Disability (PwD) candidate Satish Kumar Panigrahi, in its interim order issued on July 21 without leave of the court.
As the stay on publication of the results will hamper the chances of a large number of aspirants, the OPSC had approached the High Court appealing withdrawal of the stay. Hearing the OPSC, the High Court today vacated the earlier stay and ordered the Commission to keep one post in reserve which cannot be filled without the Court orders.
