Bhanjanagar: A leopard was killed in an accident in the Mujagada forest of North Ghumusura forest range in Ganjam last night. According the sources, an unknown vehicle knocked down the leopard crossing the main road. On receiving information from the local people, the forest department officials and police to the leopard for treatment to the Bhanjanagar Veterinary Hospital, but it succumbed to the injuries on the way.
