Empowerment of Distinct Tribes Has Always Been a Priority: CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Empowerment of distinct tribes has always been a priority of the Odisha Government, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.

Odisha is home to 62 distinct tribes and preservation of their unique indigenous culture, traditions and their empowerment through SDCs has always been a priority, said the Chief Minister.

“On Indigenous Peoples Day, restate our commitment to ensure the holistic and inclusive development of tribal communities through participatory and community-driven initiatives”, the CM stated.
