Sambalpur: The Hirakud dam authorities in Sambalpur district have closed all sluice gates due to the decrease in inflow of water into the reservoir.
In view of less rainfall in the upper catchment area of the Mahanadi River, the authorities today issued an order to close two more sluice gates, as per reports.
