Bhubaneswar: Saving a life is the greatest virtue which can be achieved through organ donation, said Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on the occasion of World Organ Donation Day today.
World Organ Donation Day is observed every year on August 13 to spread awareness around importance of organ donation and bust myths around it.
On World Organ Donation Day, Odisha raises awareness on this noble act through the Suraj Samman which recognises Good Samaritan organ donors, and their invaluable service to save lives of others, the CM said.
