Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today ordered a CBI probe into the issuance of erroneous marksheet to a candidate who appeared for JEE (Main) exam in 2022.
The High Court has asked the CBI to submit a report after completing the investigation within four months.
It is worth noting that in the 2022 JEE examination, Anshuman Kanungo’s marksheet was rejected by NIT Rourkela. Later, Kanungo approached the High Court, stating that the marksheet issued to him was flawed.
He cleared the JEE with 98.97 percent marks. But Rourkela NIT rejected his admission citing fake marksheet.
While hearing the petition of Kanungo, the High Court asked the CBI to probe into the incident.
