Sundargarh: A major tragedy was averted today when the forces recovered a landmine from near the railway tracks at Topadi railway station in Sudargarh district. According to sources, a landmine weighing about 10 kilograms was found near the rail track. Bomb disposal squad immediately swung into action and defused the landmine. It is suspected that Naxals might have planted the powerful landmine. Police is investigating the case and search operation has started in the area.
