Bhubaneswar: An expert team of doctors is flying to Malkangiri district today for providing super specialist treatment to the patients waiting there under Mukhymantri Vayu Swasthya Seva Yojana. The team consists of five senior doctors from five different clinical departments as per the requirement of the enlisted patients. They will serve and treat the patients up to 31st August. The team consists of Dr A Jena, Nephrologist; Dr BK Das Cardiologist; Dr S Sethi Surgery specialist; Dr S Rana, Radiologist; and Dr C Pradhan, Anesthesiologist.
Under the Mukhymantri Vayu Swasthya Seva Yojana, specialist doctors are flown to remote areas of the state to treat patients admitted into their respective district headquarter hospitals. All the services are free of cost. If required, critical patients are being airlifted to Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
