Postgraduate Courses Begins at Odia University

Puri: Setting a milestone in the field of language and cultural education, Odia University has launched postgraduate courses on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.

Congratulating the faculties and students of the university, the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that it is a glorious day. Like Satyabadi Bana Vidyalaya, Odia University will help further strengthen our national consciousness, the CM said.

The Chief Minister paid homage to the great persons who enriched Odia language and literature.

The Chief Minister suggested creating opportunities for more research on Odia, a classical language of two and a half thousand years. The Chief Minister said that the current age is the age of technology. Therefore, he advised to take advantage of the technological development and work towards how the Odia language can reach the whole world by applying digital technology in language and literature education.

The Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to complete the construction of the varsity’s building by December 2023.

Higher Education Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Satyabadi MLA Umakanta Samantaray, Vice-Chancellor of Odia University Dr. Sabita Pradhan and other eminent persons were present on the occasion.
