Odisha Vigilance Unearths Assets worth over Crores from Possession of OAS Officer

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday unearthed assets worth over crores from the possession of OAS officer Sangram Keshari Jena.

On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Jena, Ex-Tahasildar, Buguda, Ganjam, currently Revenue & Disaster Management Dept, Bhubaneswar, the Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous house searches at 4 places in Khurdha dist linked with the officer.

The Vigilance sleuths unearthed assets – two multi storeyed building including 1 triple storeyed building (7554 Sqft.) of approx cost Rs.1.36 Crore, six plots, one benami plot, deposits over Rs.21.46 Lakhs, three four wheelers in house search of Jena.

The raids are being conducted by 3 DSPs, 10 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
