Bhubaneswar: Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Ltd (OAIC) under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment and State Co-operative Bank under the Cooperation Department on Friday paid the dividends to the State Government.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik received the cheque at his residence.
On behalf of the State Co-operative Bank, Cooperation Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak presented the cheque of Rs 9,00,75,024 to the CM for the financial year 2021-22- 2022-23.
The Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Cooperation Department, Arvind Agarwal and President of State Co-operative Bank T. Prasad Rao Dora were present on the occasion.
Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Ltd paid Rs 5,62,53,794 for the financial years 2020-21 and 2021-22.
OAIC chairman Debasish Mohanty presented the cheque to the Chief Minister in the presence of the Agriculture Department Director and OAIC Managing Director Prem Chandra Chaudhary and other officials.
Notably, the OAIC has been paying its dividends to the State Government since 2015-16.
