Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday inaugurated the 5th edition of Eco Retreat, the biggest glamping event in Eastern India.
Nature lovers can enjoy the natural beauty along with the adventurous water sports facilities and local culture, mouth-watering Odia cuisine, aesthetic folk music and dance at these Eco Retreats.
The mega tourism event is now open at four exotic destinations – Putsil (Koraput), Daringbadi, Satkosia and Hirakud.
Inaugurating the event, the Chief Minister said, “After having successfully organized four editions, Odisha Government’s flagship product Eco Retreat has been highly appreciated by the travel and tourism fraternity for its sustainable model incorporating best practices in waste to wealth and holistic resource management while offering tourists a more refined leisure hospitality akin to star category resorts.”
While there are 28 luxury tents, equipped with all necessary amenities, have been erected at Putsil at the base of Deomali in Koraput district, 25 luxury tents have been put up at Daringbadi. Likewise, 25 tents each have been put up at Hirakud and Satkosia. Visitors can make their bookings online on Odisha Tourism website.
