Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday apprehended a revenue inspector in Malkangiri district for taking bribe in an encroachment case.
Suraj Chandra Bala, who is the revenue inspector in Motu Circle, was caught by the Vigilance sleuths while taking bribe Rs.15,000/- from a person for helping him in the encroachment case.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No. 33/2023 U/s 7 P.C Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered. The investigation is in progress.
